HB Foundation and PowerBilt sign on as Scholarship sponsor
for the Michigan PGA Junior Tour
THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. – PowerBilt Golf will support the Michigan PGA section, with its Michigan PGA Junior Tour, by assisting the HB Foundation Scholarship Program. In an effort to recognize children that participate in the Michigan PGA Junior Tour presented by Lincoln and your Lincoln Dealer, college scholarships will be awarded to Junior golfers based on their playing ability, academics, citizenship (community activities), and extra-curricular activities (additional school activities)
Powerbilt Golf is looking forward to working with Junior Tours and partners that have contributed to their local market. “Powerbilt is excited to have the opportunity to help grow the game of golf and assist junior golfers with their higher education costs. We have set out to develop a community driven program and the Michigan PGA Section is an outstanding partner to develop these programs” says PowerBilt President Ross Kvinge.
The scholarships administered through the HB Foundation will be awarding (5) scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each this year to graduating seniors that are members of the Michigan PGA Junior Tour. “We are excited about this new opportunity as the scholarship program is a tremendous added value to our tour and a great benefit for the Juniors” says Justin Phillips, Tournament Director of the Michigan PGA.
